Issuance of Evacuation Advisories and Orders Using 5-Level Warning System

When a natural disaster occurs or is imminent, Nagasaki City and the Japan Meteorological Agency will issue or announce evacuation advisories or orders based on the 5-level warning system and inform you when to evacuate. Please prepare yourself for what to do in the event of a disaster by checking in the chart below the proper actions to take for each level.

Note 1: The evacuation information that will be announced by Nagasaki City is determined based on various information. It will not always be the case where the same warning level announcements will be made by both parties at the same time.
