Please visit a Regional Office to undergo change of residency procedures. 

• Regional Office Business Hours
  • Regional offices are open weekdays 8:45 AM to 5:30 PM (offices closed on holidays and from Dec. 29 to Jan. 3).

• Moving into Nagasaki City (tennyu-todoke) Submit a notification within 14 days of moving into Nagasaki City.
  • Items needed for moving into Nagasaki City
    • Moving Out Certificate (only for people moving into the city from outside of the city)
    • If in possession of one, the My Number Card or the Basic Resident Registration Card (Juki Card) of those moving
    • Resident Cards, etc. for every member of your household who is moving 

• Moving out of Nagasaki City (tenshutsu-todoke)
  You can submit a notification up to one month prior to your moving date.
  • Items needed for moving out of Nagasaki City
    • Resident Cards, etc. of those moving
    • The My Number Card or Basic Resident Registration Card (Juki Card) of those moving (if you have one)

• Moving within Nagasaki City (tenkyo-todoke) Submit a notification within 14 days of moving to your new address.
  • Items needed for moving within Nagasaki City
    • Resident Cards, etc. of those moving
    • The My Number Card or Basic Resident Registration Card (Juki Card) of those moving (if you have one)
